Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.)

Bachelor of Commerce is considered as the second most preferred option for those who are not able to get admission in Science and those who think is a lesser cousin of a Commerce Course. Bachelor of Commerce course is offered in many different disciplines to train candidates in a field. The degree provides the students with a wide range of managerial skills and competence in an area of Commerce. It equips students with the knowledge of accounting principles, export and import laws, economic policies and other aspects that impacts trade and business

Course Intake:

Eligibility:

* Candidates must pass in HSC Exam with specialization in any of the areas of Arts, Science or Commerce from the University can apply for this course.

* Candidates should be passed from the Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination or Diploma course in any Engineering Branches to apply for the admission.

* Candidates must score an aggregate of at least 35% marks in the exam to apply for the admission.

Admission:

Eligible candidates will be admitted directly by the college on merit as per the schedule given by University of Mumbai. Reservation of seats will be observed as per government rules.

Examination:

Examination for Semester I, II, III and IV will be conducted by the College, on behalf of the University of Mumbai, at the end of each semester. Examination for the semester V and VI will be conducted by the university.

Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting & Finance (B.A.F.)

Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance known as BAF Course is an undergraduate programme that provides training in the areas of accounting and finance which is offered by many universities in Mumbai. This course was introduced by the University of Mumbai in the year 2003-04. The objective of this course was to improve self-employment and provide benefits to the organizations by providing them with suitably trained persons in the field of Accounting & Finance by mode of interaction, presentations, projects, industrial visits and practical training. BAF degree will help you to gain knowledge in areas of financial accounting, Cost accounting, Auditing, IT, Taxation, Economics and Business Law, Business communications.

Bachelor of Commerce in Banking & Insurance (B.B.I.)

A programme in Banking and Insurance is developed as per the requirements of the finance Industry where students learn banking operations, regulations, monetary auditing, selling of financial products and services. The programme curriculum includes studies of economics, management as well as laws of financial sector. Students are also trained at Insurance companies and Banking Institutions during course internship. The management programme is offered at bachelor as well as master’s degree level. This specialised programme offers learning of mid-level expertise of the Banking and Insurance Industry.

Bachelor of Management Studies (B.M.S.)

The course is a full time 3 year degree course conducted under the aegis of University of Mumbai.

Course Intake:

60 Seats

Eligibility:

A candidate for being eligible for admission to the B.M.S. Degree course shall have passed XII std. Examination of the Maharashtra Board of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination or Diploma in any engineering branches with two years or three years or four years duration after S.S.C. conducted by the Board of Technical Education, Maharashtra state or its equivalent examination by securing 45% of marks for general category (in one attempt) at respective examination and minimum 40% of marks for the reserved category (in one attempt). Admissions are purely based on merit duly following the reservation policy as per the norms of Government of Maharashtra. The applications are accepted, processed and the merit list is displayed stream wise taking into account the reservation policy prescribed by the Government of Maharashtra.

* In case if no applications are received under the “Diploma in Engineering and other category” or if the seats remain vacant in “Diploma in Engineering and other category” after all the merit lists/ forms are exhausted, the vacant seats must be transferred to Commerce Stream.

* In case if no application is received from any stream the vacant seats are to be distributed equally between the remaining two streams o nly.

* After the first merit list is displayed, if any seat allowed to one stream remains vacant, the same shall be distributed equally between the remaining two streams. In case of vacancy in one stream is of single/odd number of seats, the single seat is to be allotted to the Commerce Stream. In case if no applications are available from the two streams, then all the vacant seats of such two streams must be transferred to the third stream.

* Step (c) be repeated for the subsequent merit lists till all the forms are exhausted or the final merit list is displayed, whichever is earlier.
