B.A.M.M.C is a three-year undergraduate programme with two semesters every year. Students will gain in-depth information on each aspect of communication and the mass media in this course. Students must select one of the following specializations in their final year: journalism or advertising. Internships in these streams also offer technical training. In addition, during the course work, lectures, group discussions, workshops, and field trips are routinely conducted. The curriculum for mass communication courses is extensive and includes the closely connected subjects of communication, advertisement, films, public relations etc.
CAREER PROSPECTS
Following the successful completion of a mass communication degree, the learner will be qualified to pursue a Master’s degree in Mass Communication & Journalism, Public Relations M.Com (Business Management), MBA in Advertising and Public Relation, MA in Electronic Media, MA in Film Communication, among many other options. After completion, students can pursue employment in Photographer, Editor, Cinematographer Cinema and Video Production, Script Writer, TV Program Producer, Director, Animator, Actor, Anchor, Ad Film Maker, Graphic Designer, UI/UX Designer, Web Designer, Copywriter radio jockeying, event planning, public relations, animation, graphics, and digital marketing, among others. Admission Eligibility
- Candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board with a minimum of 45% aggregate (40% for reserved category candidates)
- To apply for admission, candidates must have completed the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination or a Diploma course in any Engineering Branches
