 The objective of the event

A focused educational programme, an ethical hacking seminar aims to teach attendees the fundamentals, methods, and best practices of ethical hacking and penetration testing. The goal of the ethical hacking seminar is to raise awareness of the ethical and legal ramifications of hacking while providing participants with the knowledge and abilities necessary to defend against cyberattacks in an ethical and effective manner.

Objective of event:

Among BSc IT, CS, and DS students, increasing knowledge of cyber security is the main goal of the webinar.Give them knowledge about the different risks, vulnerabilities, and cyber threats that people and companies must deal with in the digital world.Promote the use of secure online conduct, data encryption, and password management as examples of best practices in cyber security.

Equip students with the knowledge and abilities to safeguard their assets and personal data in the online world.Highlight the potential for employment in the field of cyber security as well as the qualifications needed to succeed in it.

Expected Outcomes  of event :

·      Increased Awareness:A greater understanding of the value of cyber security and how it relates to everyday life should be among the participants.

 

·      Knowledge of Cyberthreats: Participants should be able to recognize and understand several types of cyberthreats, including phishing, malware, and hacking.

 

·      Adoption of Best Practices: In order to protect their digital presence, participants should be inspired by the webinar to incorporate best practices into their online activity.

 

·      Enhanced Online Safety: After attending the webinar, students ought to be more equipped to defend their digital assets and themselves against online attacks.

Objective of event:Digital inclusion aims to equip senior citizens with the necessary digital literacy skills so they can engage with today’s digital society.Encourage better family and friend connection by using apps like WhatsApp and make it easier for people to utilize smart devices to make video calls. By providing elders with access to news, entertainment, and information on websites like YouTube and smart TVs. Seniors should be taught about  the ethical and safe use of digital technology in order to safeguard themselves from online fraud and threats. Help seniors become more self-sufficient by teaching them how to do simple things like make notes, get medical information, and purchase online. Show how elders can benefit from digital technologies to combat the problem of loneliness.
Expected Outcomes  of event :

·      Digital literacy: Participants will learn the abilities required to make calls, send messages, and access internet information using cell phones, YouTube, smart TVs, and WhatsApp.

·      Improved Social Engagement: Seniors will feel more connected to friends and family, which will lead to more social contacts and a decrease in feelings of loneliness.

·      Knowledge Access: Through YouTube and smart TVs, participants will have access to a vast array of knowledge and entertainment that will encourage ongoing learning and mental stimulation.

·      Online Safety: Seniors will learn about online safety, which will help them identify and defend against online threats and scams.

·      Independence and Empowerment: As people age, they will become more adept at handling everyday responsibilities like making online purchases, setting reminders, and scheduling appointments.

·      Community Engagement: By encouraging elders to interact with one another, local resources, and support services, the initiative will help them feel more a part of the community.

·      To make sure that the goals are reached and the intended results are obtained, the program’s success will be evaluated through surveys, assessments, and input from the senior participants.
